Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

Indian Hills PTO

The Indian Hills Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of every student while fostering a strong sense of community among families, teachers, and staff.

In partnership with the school, the PTO helps make possible visual art and music instruction for every student, every week, as well as hands-on science experiences with our Resident Scientist. Students engage in lab work both on campus and in the field at inspiring learning sites such as Red Butte Garden, the Great Salt Lake, the Natural History Museum of Utah, and Wasatch Mountain State Park, among others.

The PTO also hosts a variety of community-building events throughout the year, including Family Movie Night, Boo Hoo–Woo Hoo, the STEAM Fair, Arts Night, the Holiday Sing-Along, the annual Fun Run, Book Fairs, Red Ribbon Week, DEAR Week, grade-level programs, and Teacher Appreciation Week.

The PTO welcomes participation from all families and offers many ways to get involved—whether through volunteering at events, supporting classroom projects, or helping behind the scenes. We provide opportunities that fit a variety of schedules and time commitments so everyone can contribute in meaningful ways.

Please sign up on the Indian Hills Elementary PTO website.
