October 28th - Wednesday

Dear Families,

Our 6th graders will participate in a special field trip to the University of Utah on Wednesday, October 28th, as part of our STEM Action Center Computing Grant: Indian Hills Innovation Lab.

This one-of-a-kind experience includes a behind-the-scenes tour of labs in the University of Utah's College of Science and the Kahlert School of Computing.

Throughout the day, students will rotate through activities in small groups with chaperones.

Key Details:
  • Departure: 9:00 a.m.
  • Location: University of Utah
  • Return: Activities conclude at 1:30 p.m.
  • What to Wear: Comfortable closed-toe walking shoes & bring a jacket (weather in Utah is super unpredictable)

TO DO:  We'd love to highlight the students and their experiences with these world-class research labs. Please return this linked permission slip to Ms. Henderson or Ms. Starr.

A special thank you to Missy Dawson for coordinating this incredible opportunity!

Additional field trip details are below.

Warmly,
Dr. P.
