Friday-Eve Eagle Announcements

Indian Hills Elementary

Tomorrow is shaping up to be one of those very fun days to be an Indian Hills Eagle!

We’ll start the morning with a high-energy visit from the Dunk Team, who will help us officially kick off our Fun Run, the biggest fundraiser of the year!

Our PTO does an incredible amount to enrich the experience of every student at Indian Hills, and the Fun Run makes so much of that possible.

House Sorting

The goal of houses is to strengthen what makes Indian Hills special:  Community

Students won't choose their House. Their House will choose them.

Tonight, there are 470-ish Eagles with one very important question... to be answered tomorrow...

Why Houses?

Indian Hills is already a special community. Our House System is designed to make that community a little more connected and a whole lot more fun!

Each House will include Eagles from across grade levels, giving students opportunities to build relationships with children and adults they might not otherwise know well. 

Houses will help us:
  • Build belonging:  Every Eagle has a place and a team, beyond their classroom.
  • Strengthen relationships across grade levels:  Our youngest Eagles get older students to look up to, while our older Eagles have authentic opportunities to lead.
  • Celebrate our schoolwide expectations: Being safe, responsible, respectful, kind, and hardworking helps your House!
  • Have FUN together: Expect House challenges, celebrations, friendly competitions, spirit, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow together.
