2026-27 Eagle Update

Indian Hills Elementary

Another great week is ahead at Indian Hills!

We loved seeing so many of you on Friday Morning at our Donuts with Grownups - VIP Donut opening social!

🦅 It is hard to believe we are already heading into September. This week:

  • Music begins for our 4th-, 5th-, and 6th-grade students!
  • Teachers and Mr. Dylan will start Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons.
  • We’ll also continue the behind-the-scenes work of supporting students through our Student Services Council (SSC).
  • Early Release at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

There will be no school on Monday, September 7th, because of the Labor Day holiday.

Thank you for continuing to make Indian Hills a place where learning is prioritized, kids are known and loved, and every Eagle belongs. ❤️🖤

August 31 - Monday

Counselor Corner

Hello Indian Hills!

This week SEL lessons start in the classroom. This one will just be an introduction to me and what I do. I will also be sending home a form to sign that authorizes me to provide quick counseling services for your children when they need them. My groups and services are skills-based; as a School Counselor, I do not do therapy with students. 

All students will be given one of these forms, but that does not mean they will be in a group or receive those services. I will always call or email parents for permission before adding any child to a group I am running.

You can also email or call me if you want to request that your child joins a group. I look forward to getting to know you and your children more throughout the year.
