Your Input Requested

Indian Hills Elementary

Hi there, Eagles!

Census records show that households with children are declining in SLC more than anywhere else in the Salt Lake County Metro Area. The Salt Lake City Planning Division is researching ways to make the city a better place for families with children and has requested your input.

Warmly,

Dr. P.

We are studying best practices for making the city a more supportive and inviting place for children. Well-designed neighborhoods help people of all ages feel safe, healthy, happy, and independent.

We want to hear from you! We are reaching out to organizations throughout the city that work with youth, children and their caregivers. I’ve included a link to our survey below, and an info sheet with a QR code to take the survey if you’d like to print it out for your community. The survey is available in multiple languages.

Please pass this along to anyone who would like to give feedback – parents, caregivers, or service providers would all be appreciated! The survey results will shape our recommendations for future planning projects. Please reach out with any questions or ideas that are not included in the survey.
The survey is open from now until August 1st, 2026.
Thank you!

Respectfully,
