Eagle Update 4/19

Eagle Update

Indian Hills Elementary

Thank you for your strong support of attendance at Indian Hills this month!

Because of you, we truly are making every day count. Last week, we had our highest attendance rates in months and, even more exciting, the fewest tardies we’ve seen all year!

We are now fully underway with end-of-level testing.

To help students do their very best, please ensure they are getting a good night’s sleep, eating breakfast, and arriving at school on time each day.

At Indian Hills, our students consistently perform at the highest levels in the state. While we know that testing is just one measure of learning, we want every student to feel prepared, confident, and ready to show what they know.

Thank you for your continued partnership.

Warmly,

Dr. P.

April showers bring May flowers right? Wild to watch the snow fall this week at IHE, but I guess that is how spring goes in Utah. Even though the March Madness basketball tournaments ended during spring break.

As we continue to support all students during end-of-year testing in the building, we are discussing healthy habits during SEL that keep our minds and bodies prepared to do our best.

We are also going to give the upper grades (who are engaged in end-of-level testing) a brain break by having some fun playing SEL games this week.

Come support our Eagles as Slice House turns their restaurant into a student art gallery featuring pizza box designs by Indian Hills students!

Our student art gallery is on display at SliceHouse until April 26! Head over to see the pizza boxes created by Indian Hills 3rd-, 4th-, and 5th-grade students.

Everyone is invited to visit the restaurant and vote for their favorite designs by class and grade level, either in person at Slice House, located at 1332 S. Foothill Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84108, or online at asliceofsupport.net.
