About Me

I have been teaching for 20 years and worked in schools in other capacities before that.  I guess I can say that I started working with children as a teenager when I baby sat all the time.  My college choices were Brigham Young University and Weber State University. I went to BYU as a young adult but left school to start my family.  I went back to school at Weber State after my children were in school, so I was older when I started teaching.

I have a very kind husband and three children.  The best part of life is that those children have now blessed me with four grandchildren. I spend much of every summer enjoying my grandchildren who live in California. We love to travel around the country and see all the wonders that surround us.

When I find myself with some extra time, I love to read, sew, or do general crafty things.

I have been privileged to work at Indian Hills for the majority of my career, after a short stint at Meadowlark Elementary in Rose Park.  We have such a great community here and I have loved working with the families and staff here.
