PTA Update

Hello Indian Hills families-

Here we are, coming down to the last handful of school days of this year. And what a year it has been! I think it's safe to say that we have all been stretched and challenged in ways that we may not have anticipated, but as we look back on the things that we have learned and the ways that we have grown this year, we are overwhelmed with eagle pride. Our students, teachers, administrators, and families have shown what it means to do hard things, to be a part of a community even when it's only remotely, and to work hard and be kind. Thank you for showing your #iheaglepride this year! As we wind down, we have just a few quick items...

ARTS NIGHT

Thank you to everyone that came out to celebrate this year with us at ARTS Night. We had such a great turnout of students and families and we were able to hit our goal of raising over $8000 for BOOT, which provides supplemental funding for Arts, Resources, Technology and Science at Indian Hills. But most of all, it was great to come together as a community to celebrate this year and reconnect as a community! We want to thank the many, many volunteers who helped in any way! We had an amazing committee of PTA and BOOT volunteers and so many parents and teachers that stepped up to help! THANK YOU!

SUMMER SCIENCE AND ART KITS -

We ended up with just a few of the summer art and science kits that we sold at ARTS Nights, left over if you didn't have a chance to grab yours. These kits were put together by Ms Bonner and Ms Schiel and are very cool summer activities for your students!

The supplies are limited and on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested in any of these kits, please respond back to this email and we can make arrangements to get them to you. (*Payments can be made via venmo, cash or check

DEVICE CHECK IN

All school devices that have been checked out for remote learning this year will need to be returned and accounted for on Thursday and Friday June 3rd & 4th. Laptops, Power Cords, Hot Spots, or any other items checked out from the school need to be returned, so they can be reimaged and ready for next year.

We have been asked to help provide some extra volunteers to help make this process go smoothly for the office staff. If you have any availability on Thursday or Friday, we are still looking for a few more volunteers.

YEARBOOKS

What a year to remember!! Our 20-21 school yearbooks are here and will be distributed by the teachers to students that have ordered yearbooks at the end of this week.

We do still have a few extras available to purchase. Quantities are limited, but if you haven't purchased yearbooks and would like to do so in time for your student(s) to get them and have their friends and teachers be able to sign them, this is your last chance! You can purchase yearbooks via our PTA Website/Store... https://indianhillsslc.membershiptoolkit.com/packet/2664

Teachers have lots of great things planned for our students all week and through the 7th!

Let's finish strong!
